Job Summary
The Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) – Academies Support & Extended Programs provides cross-campus support to strengthen student support, strategies for working with ELOP students in the general education classroom, extended learning programs, and special initiatives. This role works in collaboration with site administrators and staff to assist with implementation of systems and programs. The TOSA supports consistency across campuses by helping facilitate resources, training, and communication, while maintaining site-based decision-making authority. The TOSA also supports coordination efforts between River Islands Academies and GECAC After School Program site staff to help align student support and enrichment opportunities.
