What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregivers NOC On Call Friday/Saturday (RG) position at River Grove Memory Care?
River Grove believes that happy residents are achieved by a team of happy employees.
We support training for the older worker.
Will provide education and training pertinent to the position.
Will provide mileage compensation to certain individuals to help cover basic costs while they receive career training.
JOB DUTIES of Caregiver:
- Provide direct care to residents with utmost respect and dignity. This includes assisting our seniors with activities of daily living (i.e., dressing, bathing, grooming and other personal care needs).
- Recognize and meet residents’ needs while simultaneously encouraging independence.
- Uphold a safe home-like setting.
- Residents are also assisted by caregivers with purposeful tasks such as socializing, cleaning, arts and crafts, and more.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- You manage time like a professional.
- You’re able to complete CPR and First Aid certifications.
- You’re reliable and prompt and are comfortable interacting with the public, visitors, residents, and other staff with tact.
- Frequent lifting requirement of 20 lbs. (or less), occasional lifting requirement of greater than or equal to 50 lbs.
