Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces across all areas of the facility
- Conduct specialized floor care such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance
- Operate janitorial equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with facilities maintenance including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and troubleshooting basic equipment issues
- Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas by regularly sanitizing restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and common spaces
- Follow safety protocols diligently while performing custodial duties to ensure a hazard-free environment for all staff and visitors
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
- Strong skills in cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and general facilities maintenance
- Ability to operate custodial equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums
- Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and safety procedures to prevent accidents or damage
