Position Summary:
The Non-Licensed Clinician is responsible for delivering clinical and support services to clients under the guidance of licensed professionals. This role includes conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, coordinating resources, and advocating for client needs while ensuring adherence to the facility's treatment programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and discharge coordination
- Determine necessity for involuntary commitments and execute orders when required
- Provide crisis intervention and advocate for clients to resolve critical situations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, etc.)
- Fully licensed or license-eligible (LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW)
- Minimum 1 year of post-master’s experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment
