Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients as needed
- Support bussing efforts by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly
- Aid in basic food handling duties during busy service times or catering events
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during banquet setups or large events
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal, recycling, and chemical use to promote a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, especially in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with food service operations including bussing, food prep, or catering is a plus
- Experience working in banquet settings or hotel kitchens is advantageous
- Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food handling safety standards is beneficial
