Personal Trainer

River Crest Country Club is seeking to add Personal Trainers for evenings at our top-notch, award-winning Fitness facility. The pay structure for this position is combination of a base rate commissions paid bi-weekly.

Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth’s oldest and most storied country club.

JOB SUMMARY

The Personal Trainer is responsible for developing and conducting fitness programs under the guidance of Director of Fitness.

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS

• Certification in CPR and first aid is required
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds is required
• Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions
• Must present a neat and clean personal appearance
• Must be available to work evenings
• Must have timely, reliable attendance
• Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field and/or a fitness certification from a National Organization is required
• At least 2 years’ experience as a fitness expert

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS

• Guides Members through initial and progressive training session in the area of flexibility, aerobic conditioning, and strength training
• Monitors fitness center, assists Members with proper techniques, answers questions and provides information about health promotions and fitness
• Maintains files of program cards, testing, and other information
• Assists the Director of Fitness in initial and continued development of services within the department
• Attends all training sessions and regular staff meetings: researches assigned projects and topics and provides continuing education to other staff members
• Assists the Director of Fitness in the supervision of Fitness Attendants.
