Position Overview
River Club of Mequon is seeking energetic and responsible Lifeguards and Swim Instructors to join our aquatics team. This position plays an important role in ensuring the safety of members and guests while providing high-quality swim instruction and creating a welcoming pool environment for families and swimmers of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor pool areas to ensure the safety of all members and guests.
- Enforce pool rules and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
- Provide swim instruction for members of varying skill levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized pool deck and surrounding areas.
- Assist with swim programs, lessons, and club events as needed.
- Communicate professionally with members and provide excellent service.
Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard Certification required (or ability to obtain before start).
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.
- Prior lifeguarding or swim instruction experience preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during shifts.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
