Optical Sales Associate:

Responsibilities:
- Warmly greeting patients and visitors whether in person or on the telephone.
- Interpreting prescriptions written by ophthalmologists and optometrists.
- Helping clients select eyewear and lens treatments for their glasses.
- Filing insurances for glasses and contacts and exams
- Creating work orders for lab technicians to ensure delivery of the proper lenses.
- Adjusting eyeglasses to ensure a proper fit
- Repairing broken frames
- Educating clients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care
- Keeping track of orders, prescriptions, and inventory
- Assisting anywhere the practice needs help
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Optical experience is preferred
- Computer skills
- Positive attitude
- Multi-tasking
- Telephone Skills
- Time Management
- Attention to Detail
- Professionalism
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
