Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and versatile individual to join our team as a Full-Time Housekeeper. In this essential role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our community's common areas and preparing vacant units for new residents. The position also requires performing light maintenance and painting tasks to ensure our property remains a welcoming and pristine environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
Apartment Turnover: Perform detailed deep cleaning and sanitization of vacant apartments to prepare them for new move-ins, ensuring an immaculate and "move-in ready" condition.Painting:
Conduct touch-up painting in occupied units and full interior painting of vacant apartments and common areas as needed.
General Housekeeping: Clean and maintain all common areas daily, including office, sidewalks, restrooms, laundry facilities, and fitness center.
Light Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing loose fixtures, and reporting larger repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
Supply Management: Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning and painting supplies, ensuring all necessary products are consistently stocked and equipment is maintained.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and OSHA regulations, including the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and handling of waste disposal.
Customer Service: Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service to residents and staff when interacting within the community.
Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Proven experience in a professional housekeeping, cleaning, or maintenance role is preferred (1-3 years is a plus).
Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills are essential. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and maintenance tasks is required.
Physical Stamina: The ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, is necessary.
Reliability: Must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of performance.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to pass a background check are required. A valid driver's license may be needed for running errands.
