What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unarmed Security Guard position at River City Security & Investigations, LLC?
We are seeking highly motivated Security Guards to become an essential part of our growing team. The selected individuals must have a Security Guard license in the state of Alabama.
Responsibilities:
· Monitors, and authorize entrance and departure of clients, employees, visitors, and other persons on premises
· Investigates suspicious activity or possessions
· Warn violators off the premises
· Must training rules and regulations
· Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
· Keep accurate and detailed reports
· Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
· Perform other duties as requested or required
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred
· Familiarity with security equipment such as company phones, computers and etc.
· Ability to handle physical workload, must be able to stand, walk, stoop and bend for long periods of time
· Strong attention to detail
· Working knowledge of detailed report writing
· Strong communication skills, verbal and written
· Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Ability to pass a background check and drug testing (a must)
· Must be self-motivated

- 8 hour shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Security Guards: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Alabama Security Regulatory Board License (Required)
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (Preferred)
- Night Shift (Preferred)
- Overnight Shift (Preferred)
