Position Overview
River City Security & Investigations LLC is seeking professional and dependable Armed Security Officers to provide coverage across multiple locations. Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering strong customer service and upholding company standards.
This is a hands-on role requiring reliability, awareness, and the ability to respond appropriately to a variety of situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle
- Monitor access points and control entry when required
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and client requests
- Complete detailed and accurate reports (DARs, incident reports, etc.)
- Follow all post orders, company policies, and client instructions
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients
- Assist with special assignments or additional coverage as needed
Expectations
- Must be reliable and arrive on time for all scheduled shifts
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Must follow the chain of command and communicate appropriately
- Must be willing to work various sites based on operational needs
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
Licensing Requirements (Tennessee)
- Must possess an active Armed Security Guard/Officer License through the
- Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance
- Must meet all state requirements for armed security officers
- Compensation Range: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
- Pay rate varies based on site, shift, and contract requirements
Schedule
- Part-time positions available
- Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Hours and locations may vary based on assignment
Additional Information
- Opportunities for overtime and additional shifts may be available
- Officers may be assigned to different locations based on company needs
- This is not a static post—flexibility is required
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
