What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Technician position at River City Property Maintenance?
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lawn Technician to join our team. Employment would start beginning of April pending weather.
Our goal is to find someone that can work independently, produce high quality work and be trusted. Potential for company growth and salaried position for the right candidate.
This is a small company. You would be working primarily with the owner or going out on your own with a truck and equipment trailer.
As a Lawn Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for lawns and landscapes at commercial and residential properties.
This is a hands-on position that requires lawn mowing, trimming, edging, landscape maintenance, and light landscape work.
Typical work week will be mowing Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and occasional landscape projects on Thursday and or Friday. Most Fridays offs. Typical hours are 30-40 per week.
Potential for snow removal employment if desired. Would include plowing, snow blowing, shoveling and salting paved surfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Maintain landscapes
- Trim and prune trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth
- Occasional landscape work such as mulch installations
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed (will provide paid training if applicant wishes to do so)
- Clean up debris and leaves from lawns and landscapes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
