Position Overview:
River City Environmental is seeking a reliable and motivated Septic Technician with a CDL (Class A or B with a Tanker Endorsement) to join our growing team. This position involves operating septic pump trucks, servicing residential and commercial systems, and providing excellent customer service in the field. Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain equipment to service residential and commercial septic systems
- Conduct inspections in accordance with state regulations
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Respond to on-call and emergency service needs (one week per month rotation)

Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement and an insurable driving record. License must be Real ID compliant or must be obtained within 90 days.
- Ability to drive manual 10-speed or 18-speed trucks
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Oregon or Washington Maintenance Septic Certification
- Ability to work in confined spaces and lift 75 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Must pass background check and drug/alcohol testing (drug-free workplace, including no marijuana)
