Outside Sales Representative

CleanWay is looking for a high-energy Outside Sales Representative to drive new business and grow key client relationships in the stormwater and environmental services industry. This is a hunter role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable hitting the pavement, making a LOT of cold calls, knocking on doors, finding new opportunities, and turning prospects into customers. What You’ll Do

• Aggressively prospect for new customers through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, referrals, and other lead generation strategies
• Make a hige volume of outbound calls and consistently pursue new business opportunities
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers
• Conduct a mix of inside and outside sales (minimum 10 in-person client visits per day)
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
• Recommend compliant, cost-effective solutions for stormwater and environmental needs
• Track all sales activity in ServiceTitan (calls, emails, quotes, orders, invoices)
• Support collections by following up on outstanding invoices
• Promote and enroll customers in CleanWay’s Filter Replacement Program
• Maintain accurate customer records and provide weekly activity reports
• Stay up to date on environmental regulations (Clean Water Act, NPDES, etc.)
• Attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads

• Experienced in environmental, stormwater, construction, septic, industrial, or related services preferred, but not required for the right salesperson

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Sales experience in stormwater, wastewater, or environmental services
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, business, or related field

Required:

• Strong understanding of environmental compliance and regulations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (ServiceTitan a plus)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-starter with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to learn and retain technical product knowledge
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally

Physical Requirements

• Field-based role requiring site visits
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work outdoors
• May include lifting heavy grates and using basic measuring tools
