Job Title: Streetlight LED TechnicianDepartment: OperationsReports To: LeadFLSA Status: Non- ExemptWork Schedule: Four 10-hour days per week.Position Purpose:The Streetlight LED Technician performs skilled electrical work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of energized Street Light work. Duties include but are not limited to troubleshooting, repairing, installing and removing overhead streetlight heads, bulbs, and photocells.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and resolve issues with LED systems and components.Install, maintain, and repair LED lighting systems and components.Assist in the design and layout of new LED lighting projects.Comprehend and read land maps or work orders.Replace overhead and underground light wireInstalling and removing light fixtures from polesBe comfortable working multiple light circuits on busy roads and highwaysRewiring poles from the arm down to the base of polePulling span wires, climbing ladders, stenciling poles, and replacing handhold coversMust be comfortable with heights up to 50 feet in the airOperate and work from a Bucket TruckMaintains company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order.Contribute to the development of and participate in the delivery of the Pre-Job BriefingAll other duties as assignedPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
