Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to provide effective pain management and enhance overall wellness for our clients. This role requires excellent patient service skills and the ability to assess individual client needs to develop personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
• Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Implement pain management techniques tailored to each client's condition.
• Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress, and any changes in their condition.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
• Uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support client care.

Skills

• Strong patient service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Proficient in patient assessment techniques to evaluate client needs effectively.
• Expertise in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy methodologies.
• Knowledge of pain management strategies relevant to various conditions.
• Understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to massage therapy.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
