Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant
River City Bark & Park – Elizabeth City, NC
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant to join our team.
This is a hands-on job that includes caring for dogs, supervising playgroups, feeding, cleaning, and keeping our facility safe and clean. This job involves a lot more than just playing with dogs.
Job Duties
- Supervise dogs during indoor and outdoor play
- Feed and provide fresh water to dogs
- Clean playrooms, boarding rooms, yards, bowls, and bedding etc
- Pick up and clean dog waste and other messes
- Give medications as directed
- Help with baths and nail trims when needed
- Help provide enrichment activities
- Follow care instructions for each dog
- Report any health or behavior concerns
- Complete opening and closing duties as needed
Requirements
- Must be dependable and arrive on time
- Comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Comfortable cleaning urine, feces, vomit, and other messes
- Able to safely handle dogs on leash
- Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Able to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Previous dog-care experience is helpful but not required
- Must be 18 years old
Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.50 per hour
