River Chic Designs is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position plays a vital role in keeping our warehouse organized, clean, and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
- Ensure inventory counts and locations remain accurate and updated
- Break down, shred, and dispose of empty boxes and packaging materials
- Sweep, clean, and maintain warehouse work areas
- Empty trash and keep the facility clean and orderly
- Unload shipping containers and incoming freight
- Assist with moving inventory and warehouse materials
- Perform general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must report to work every scheduled day, Monday through Friday
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may become hot during warmer months
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Extensive standing and walking throughout the shift
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to unload containers and handle warehouse inventory safely
