- Oversee discharge planning processes to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving the facility.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with complex medical conditions.
- Manage critical care situations effectively, utilizing skills in emergency medicine as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures, particularly in cases involving infectious disease care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety and care delivery.
Skills
- Proficient in Patient Assessment techniques to evaluate health status effectively.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health practices and regulations.
- Experience with Discharge Planning processes to facilitate patient transitions.
- Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) management and utilization.
- Ability to perform phlebotomize procedures as needed for patient diagnostics.
- Understanding of protocols related to Infectious Disease Care management.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center, providing critical care services.
- Skills in managing patients within a PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit).
- Strong background in Emergency Medicine practices, ensuring readiness for urgent situations.
- Expertise in Critical Care, providing advanced nursing interventions for critically ill patients.
