Full Time Leasing Agent

Enthusiastic Full Time Leasing Professional Position Needed
compensation: $12-19 Hr based on experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic full time leasing professional to assist us with marketing and leasing five different properties located in the Madison and Sun Prairie area. The leasing agent will ensure properties are maintained effectively, market properties and screen prospective tenants.

Looking for someone who will preserve favorable relations with property, manager, and tenants, contribute to a positive atmosphere in the office and portray a positive image of the company in their activities. Overseeing and coordinating the orientation of new tenants, and assist with preforming office management and clerical tasks.

Top applicants are proficient multitaskers, organized and have strong people skills.

Responsibilities:

Showing and leasing apartments
Recording and updating details of prospective and existing tenants into computer database
Examining properties and informing maintenance staff of issues
Advertising available properties and conducting tours between the four locations
Screening prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements as part of the marketing activities
Completing lease applications and assisting with verification of application
Informing prospective tenants of results
Inspecting properties when tenants take occupancy and vacate

Requirements:
High School diploma, GED, or suitable alternative
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Customer service orientation
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Available to work full-time between the hours of 9-5 Monday through Friday and 10-2 on Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
