Responsibilities
- Set and maintain dining tables with a strong focus on cleanliness and proper arrangement
- Attend to guests upon entrance
- Review restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Strong menu knowledge
- Allergen accommodation knowledge
- Efficiently manage and fulfill guest's orders
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen/bar staff to ensure seamless service.
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Manage check distribution and payment processing
Skills
- Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
- Hands-on experience in POS systems
- Prioritizing cleanliness and safety
- Adhering to health code standards
- Patience and guest-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Responsible and trustworthy
- High school diploma is a plus but not required
