Rivendell Academy is looking for an energetic, creative, and student-centered part-time Band Teacher to lead our 612 instrumental modern band program. If you believe that a well-timed cymbal crash can change a day, that middle school beginners are just future rockstars in disguise, and that high school musicians deserve to shine - you might be exactly who we need. This is a part-time (.64 FTE) position.What Youll Do
- Bring music to life through engaging, hands-on band instruction
- Teach and inspire students across a wide range of skill levels (from first notes to full ensemble performances)
- Direct rehearsals that are equal parts productive and fun
- Prepare students for concerts, performances, and those unforgettable wow moments
- Build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of music
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a vibrant school community
