Position Overview
As a Service Technician, you are the face of Riveer. This is a hands-on, travel-intensive role installing and servicing custom wash water, water processing, and environmentally compliant systems used in commercial, industrial, and governmental applications.
Travel is required up to 90% of the time.
You will work independently at customer sites installing new systems, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical/plumbing components, and resolving issues in real time.
This is a full-time position, paid weekly.
Responsibilities
- Travel (up to 90%) to customer sites
- Install, service, and/or repair wash and water recovery systems
- Perform troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs and provide timely solutions to equipment-related problems.
- Maintain detailed service documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in various environments.
- Represent Riveer in a positive manner.
- Complete training during non-travel periods
Qualifications
- 2 years in field service, industrial installation, or system commissioning
- Proven experience working with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 90% of the time)
- Ability to work overtime
- Dependable with strong problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset
- Ability to pass a background check (required for military site access)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks
- Ability to communicate with customers and team members in a professional manner
