What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Assistant/Optician-in-training position at Ritzinger Optometric Clinic?
Ritzinger Optometric Clinic is a private practice with locations in River Falls and Hudson, WI. Our philosophy is to create a positive experience for every patient visit. We are looking to add a full-time employee or 2 part-time employees to our team. Position would average 4-5 days per week. Right now our need is in River Falls, but the shifts will include some time in Hudson as needed. Our clinics are open until 7 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, otherwise until 5.
Our ideal candidate is honest, reliable, and comes eager to work, eager to learn, uses time wisely, and can handle a variety of detailed tasks. Computer skills are a must. Candidate must work well on a team, yet be self-motivated while working alone.
Typical duties include preliminary testing for doctors, ordering and assisting patients with contact lenses, making appointments, taking payments, creating patient files, scanning documents, answering phones, filing, patient recalls maintaining disinfection of clinic, and patient interaction.
