Role Description The Yin Yoga Teacher & Teachers Assistant will lead and support Yin yoga classes, helping students experience restorative, meditative practices in a safe and inclusive environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing the studio space, guiding classes in alignment with Ritual Hot Yoga’s “Breathe to the Beat” philosophy, offering hands-on support when appropriate, and assisting lead teachers with class setup, breakdown, and student support. The role involves clear communication with guests, collaborating with the teaching team, and consistently upholding studio standards of safety, cleanliness, and hospitality. Additional duties may include attending staff trainings, contributing to class sequence development, and supporting special events or workshops. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Ritual Hot Yoga studio in Salt Lake City, UT.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Yoga Instruction skills, with experience teaching Yin yoga and supporting diverse student needs.
- Candidates should possess practice and/or teaching experience in Ashtanga and Vinyasa to complement Yin offerings and support the studio’s broader class formats.
- Candidates should possess Teaching and Communication skills, including the ability to give clear cues, offer supportive feedback, and maintain a welcoming, professional presence.
- Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include a recognized yoga teacher training certification (200-hour or higher), experience in heated or hot yoga environments, familiarity with trauma-informed or inclusive teaching practices, reliability in a full-time schedule, and willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
