At Ritter Cardiology, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality, individualized cardiovascular care in a collaborative and supportive environment. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Assistant and Receptionist who is eager to learn and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.
In this role, you’ll work with Dr. Ritter and gain hands-on experience in both clinical and front-desk operations. Every team member is cross-trained, giving you a well-rounded experience in a dynamic medical setting.
Medical Assistant responsibilities include:
Take vital signs and perform patient intake
Collect medical histories and assist with patient education
Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized environment
Use an electronic medical record (EMR) system for charting and documentation
Place heart and blood pressure monitors
Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and assist with cardiac testing, including exercise stress tests
Collaborate closely with Dr. Ritter to support patient care
Receptionist responsibilities include:
Greet patients and create a welcoming, positive experience
Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
Schedule appointments and manage calendars
Handle patient check-in and check-out
Manage medical records, documents, and forms
