Senior Tax Manager

Ritter Adair & Associates is seeking a Senior Tax Associate, preference of a qualified CPA, who is looking for an opportunity to become an integral part of a tax and public accounting firm. This person would join our team approach atmosphere and provide support to their peers and supervisors. A typical day for this position might include the following:

·        Prepare complete and accurate individual, corporate, estate & trust tax returns.

·        Review returns prepared by staff accountants and provide training when necessary.

·        Prepare and review business financial statements according to accounting standards.

·        Communicate with clients as a trusted advisor regarding tax preparation, planning and complex tax

issues.

·        Correspond with tax authorities regarding tax notices.

·        Perform research and be the contact person for the IRS on a client's behalf.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance or related degree.

·        3 to 5 years’ experience in public accounting/tax.

·        Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel & current financial statement/tax software(s).

·        Tax expertise at state and federal levels.

·        Leadership skills and strong desire for professional growth.

·        Strong critical thinking skills and willingness to learn and ask questions is a must!
