Duties
- Develop new client relationships through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach
- Conduct retail sales of insurance policies by presenting product features and benefits clearly to prospective clients
- Negotiate policy terms and coverage options to meet client needs while ensuring company standards are maintained
- Provide comprehensive customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding clients through the claims process
- Assist both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking clients with policy questions and insurance education
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, maintaining records, and updating client information accurately
- Utilize analysis skills to assess client profiles and recommend suitable insurance products or marketing strategies
- Support benefits administration by explaining policy options and assisting clients with enrollment procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a strong track record of meeting targets
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred or highly encouraged
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust among diverse clients
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze client needs effectively
- Familiarity with sales administration tools, CRM systems, and marketing techniques
- Ability to handle telemarketing calls professionally while adhering to HIPAA regulations for sensitive information
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
- Knowledge of benefits administration processes and insurance industry standards is a plus
