About the Role
We’re looking for an organized, people‑focused Onboarding and Benefits Coordinator to support our multi‑state flooring operations. You’ll help keep HR processes running smoothly for teams across warehouse, sales, and corporate positions.
What You’ll Do
- Support onboarding/offboarding and ensure state‑specific compliance
- Help the Benefits Manager with tasks as needed.
- Assist with employee relations matters, escalating issues appropriately and helping maintain a positive, safety‑driven culture across all locations
- Help support payroll making sure new hire information is accurate
- Track state‑specific requirements such as background checks, certifications, and driver qualification files
- Provide day‑to‑day HR support to employees and managers across locations
- Answer phone calls and make sure employee files are maintained.
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience (multi‑state or construction/warehouse environment a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
