Commercial AV & Physical Security - Technology Integrator
Sarasota, FL (Some travel required)
Full‑Time | In‑Person
$22–$30/hour (based on experience)
About RITE Technology
At RITE Technology, we don’t just install technology — we integrate it with intention.
We help organizations work smarter through Commercial Audio‑Visual systems, security cameras, access control, and other integrated workplace technology like office printers/copiers. We’re intentionally growing this side of our business and are looking for a hands‑on, growth‑oriented Project Integrator who wants to build mastery, not just complete installs.
This Role Is a Great Fit If You
- Enjoy working with your hands and understanding how systems work together
- Take pride in clean, well‑documented installations
- See learning as part of the job, not a distraction from it
- Want to grow your skills and your career in technology integration
This is more than an installer role — it’s an opportunity to develop into a high‑level integrator.
What You’ll Do
- Install and integrate Commercial AV, security camera, access control systems, copiers/printers and more
- Run, terminate, label, and test low‑voltage cabling
- Mount displays, cameras, speakers, racks, and related hardware
- Work from project drawings, scope documents, and system plans
- Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide system education
- Use digital tools such as System Surveyor, wire line drawings and project management software
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and BICSI & NESC requirements
- Complete job documentation accurately and on time
- Take ownership of your work quality, learning, and professional growth
Who Thrives in This Role
This role is a strong fit for someone who:
- A person with live event technology integration experience seeking to regain your nights and weekends
- A person who sees downtime between projects as an opportunity to get better through skill building and certifications
- Enjoys learning why systems work, not just how to install them
- Takes ownership of personal growth and skill development
- Understands that building something meaningful requires patience, professionalism, and the right attitude
This role is not a fit for someone who expects to only be paid when physically on a job site or who disengages during "paid" learning and development time. RITE is in a building stage, creating opportunities for team members who desire career development and advancement.
