What you will do: A day in the life of a Registered Nurse (RN) at Alachua Academy is rarely the same, HARD WORK, EXCITING, IMPACTFUL, and very REWARDING. As an RN at Alachua Academy, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the medical department, ensuring adherence to the healthcare guidelines, and implementing safety standards for our youth. What you will do: A day in the life of a Registered Nurse (RN) at Alachua Academy is rarely the same, HARD WORK, EXCITING, IMPACTFUL, and very REWARDING. As an RN at Alachua Academy, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the medical department, ensuring adherence to the healthcare guidelines, and implementing safety standards for our youth. This is a 100% onsite position. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage student healthcare according to their needs
- Assist medical, psychiatric, and dental providers on-site and/or via telehealth
- Maintain resident medical files
- Enforce facility rules, policies, and routines
