Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Paraprofessional/Education Liaison at Hope Forest Academy in Paisley, Florida.
We are located on a beautiful 49-acre ranch-style campus where we provide services and care for at-risk boys ages We have daily visitors such as turkeys, deer and even wild peacocks. We also have two lakes stocked with fish for both kids & staff to enjoy whenever possible.

What you will do: The Paraprofessional works as a staff member of the Education Department team. Primarily responsible for implementing and adhering to the principles of the Positive Organizational Culture and providing instructional services to students.
To be considered you should: Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect. Ability to establish a teaching rapport with students and be able to collaborate with staff to assist in the delivery of curriculum and implement a team approach to working with students. Must be able to have a strong knowledge in utilizing computers in the overall function of performing required teaching duties. Be at least 21 years of age. Related experience working with at-risk youth. Be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
Schedule: 5 days on/2 days off, forty hours per week. Monday-Friday, however schedule may vary or be adjusted due to business demand or unforeseen circumstances. Part-time staff work up to 29 hours a week.
