The primary responsibilities of a Direct Care Staff/Coach Counselor are to provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of male at-risk youth. **This is an active position, Direct Care Staff are "in the mix" with students at all times.
Coach Counselors provide for the physical, personal, and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development.
Coach Counselor’s provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students; monitor and document student behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
Coach Counselors work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan. standard level paraprofessional work in every aspect of the program operations.
