✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Day Shift Youth Care Worker at Pearl Haven in Haleiwa, HI ✨
Pearl Haven is a specialized facility on the north shore of Oahu that provides trauma informed therapeutic services for girls ages 11-17 who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with serious emotional and behavioral disturbances to try and help them heal from their trauma.
Pay: starting at $23/hour (including 4 hours of overtime guaranteed every pay period)
***$1,000 Sign On Bonus ($500 at three months, $500 at 6 months)***

What you will do: As a Youth Care Worker, you’ll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students. You’ll monitor and document student behaviors and activities, participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities, and work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.
To be considered you should: Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants should be at least 21 years of age. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test. Applicants should be empathetic, patient and have a desire to work with troubled teens.
Information regarding Schedule/hours/shifts: We have two shifts available: - Sunday through Wednesday (7am-8pm, and Wednesdays are half days from 7am-2pm) & Wednesday through Saturday (Wednesday is a half day from 1pm-8pm and Thursday through Saturday 7am-8pm)
