From intelligent doors and barrier systems to advanced HVAC and area separation solutions, ISG products are critical to our customers’ productivity, safety, and sustainability.

We’re seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Engineering to lead innovation, accelerate product development, and shape the future of our ISG portfolio. This is a pivotal leadership role with broad influence—transforming engineering into a driver of competitive differentiation, customer value, and business success. This position can be based in either Milwaukee, WI or Dubuque, IA.

What You’ll Do

• Set the Vision: Develop and execute a forward-looking engineering strategy aligned to ISG and enterprise growth goals.
• Drive Innovation: Build a robust pipeline of new products and technologies that strengthen Rite-Hite’s leadership in HVAC, doors, area separation, and barrier systems.
• Lead Product Development: Oversee end-to-end innovation—from concept to launch—ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and customer-driven solutions.
• Advance Technical Excellence: Implement best-in-class engineering processes, digital design tools, and design-for-manufacture practices that accelerate speed-to-market and improve cost competitiveness.
• Empower Teams: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, multi-site engineering organization focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Business Development to deliver market-leading solutions that delight customers.
  
  

Who You Are

• You have 15 years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including 5 years at the executive level, leading large, complex organizations.
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s in Engineering Management or an MBA is preferred.
• You have a proven record of driving innovation and delivering new products in complex manufacturing environments.
• You’ve successfully led multi-site, global engineering teams and know how to align people, processes, and priorities across functions.
• You’re experienced in or familiar with doors, HVAC systems, area separation, or barrier systems, or similar industrial product categories.
• You know how to design and develop high-performing teams, build leadership capability, and create organizational structures that support growth.
• You bring strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to translate technical opportunities into business results.
