Full Time Pharmacy Technician
Rite Health Pharmacy is hiring! We’re excited to be the new pharmacy in town, conveniently located inside Clinton County Medical Center, and we’re looking for a motivated, dependable and detail oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who is a quick learner, sharp, organized and able to think on their feet. Previous pharmacy experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person.
Position Details:
-Full time position
-Monday through Friday
-NO WEEKENDS!
Responsibilities:
-Assist with prescription processing, filling and labeling
-Provide friendly and professional customer service
-Process insurance claims and troubleshoot billing rejections
-Maintain accurate patient profiles and pharmacy records
-Assist with inventory management and medication ordering
-Support pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations
-Maintain an organized, clean and efficient work environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED required
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
-Willingness to learn
-Dependable, punctual and able to work well with a team
-Basic computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy software (SRS experience a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
-Previous retail or community pharmacy experience
-Michigan Pharmacy Technician license
-Experience with pharmacy management systems and insurance billing
-Knowledge of medication names, pharmacy terminology and prescription processing
