What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Medical Assistant position at Rite Care?
Rite Care is a growing medical company providing convenient in-home support for telehealth visits. We’re looking for nurses or experienced medical assistants to travel in their own vehicles to patients’ homes to assist with virtual medical visits.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to patients’ homes in and around Lakewood, NJ
- Perform basic clinical tests such as vitals, strep, and flu swabs
- Assist patients in connecting with the provider via telehealth
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and providers
- Maintain accurate visit documentation
Requirements:
- Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) or experienced Medical Assistant
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for telehealth support
- Availability during evenings and weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
Work Location: On the road
