Ritchie & Sons is a family-owned distributor and service provider of metal fabricating machinery based in Wilmington, MA. We serve manufacturers throughout New England and are growing our service department.
We are looking for a Field Service Technician to service metalworking equipment at customer facilities across New England. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Every day brings something different, and we provide training for the right candidate.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferred
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and work independently
- Open to overtime and occasional overnight travel
- Comfortable using tablets and field service software
- Valid driver’s license preferred
