Compensation
- As you evaluate your career options, we recognize that salary is a key consideration. For this role, the pay range is $18.00-25.00 per hour, with individual compensation determined by your unique skills, experience level, and other relevant factors
Schedule: Enjoy a 4-day work week, 10-hours a day (Monday–Thursday Between 6:00am and 6:00pm).
- Additional hours may be required during busier times
What You Will be Doing:
Across all the YELLOW JACKET® social media channels, we have over 60,000 followers. We are looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team to help support expanding our social media presence. Day-to-day the social media intern will be collaborating with our Multimedia Designer to craft messaging and graphics, responding to comments and DMs, and assisting in implementing the 2026 Social Media Strategy.

- Assist in managing and monitoring the company’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn) and posts content
- Work with the Marketing team to brainstorm and execute campaign ideas
- Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns
- Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service
- Engage with customers via social media channels
- Provide suggestions for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes
- Assists in creating performance reports
- Other duties as assigned including training others on known processes
What You Will Bring:
Required:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field) having completed sophomore year by May 2026
- Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms and current digital trends
- Ability to create engaging content and interact with online audiences in a timely and professional manner
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to convey brand messaging clearly and effectively
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and content schedules
- Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail and accountability
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to respond to inquiries and foster positive audience relationships
