Job Description
The Yard Staff safely receives, merchandises, uses inventory accountability practices, operates MHE, and facilitates check-out of items. They may perform their duties at customer locations, RB Global facilities, and/or Government Locations. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff.

Job Description
The Yard Staff safely receives, merchandises, uses inventory accountability practices, operates MHE, and facilitates check-out of items. They may perform their duties at customer locations, RB Global facilities, and/or Government Locations. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff.
Responsibilities
- Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) inventory
- Performs joint physical inventories at government locations
- Uses systems to track and process inventory.
- Drives/operates heavy and light equipment
- Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary
- Performs basic maintenance and light repairs on equipment
- Merchandises and inspects items for sale.
- Boosts equipment
- Performs basic demilitarization and deidentification
- Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment
- Assist in coordinating logistics
- Interacts with customers
- Travels to other locations as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Good customer service to both internal and external customers
- High school diploma or GED required
- Travel up to 80% may be required
- Lift 80 pounds regularly
