Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our café team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional customer experience by preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee and customer service will help foster a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they leave with a smile.

Hours

Mornings 7am - 12pm Mon- Fri

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are essential.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage offerings.
