Store Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. Duties

• Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service to ensure operational excellence.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing retail team aligned with company values.
• Manage employee orientation programs and ongoing training to enhance skills such as POS operation, cash handling, and customer engagement.
• Oversee inventory control processes including purchasing, stock replenishment, pricing strategies, and shrink reduction initiatives.
• Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost sales and increase foot traffic.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and procedures while maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.
• Utilize strong communication skills to resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively while fostering team collaboration.
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, inventory levels, employee schedules, and other administrative documentation.

Experience

• ServSafe preferred, but not required.
• Proven management experience in a retail environment with supervisory responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training, and developing team members for success.
• Strong background in retail math including sales management, pricing strategies, and budgeting.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and inventory management software.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Prior experience in grocery or specialty retail stores is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and drive sales growth through effective merchandising and marketing strategies.
