Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about food items, and provide friendly, attentive customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards.
• Restock supplies regularly to ensure the café is well-equipped for daily operations.
• Follow proper food handling procedures during food preparation and serving to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
