Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for welcoming them, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with menus.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate wait times to guests and ensure they are comfortable while waiting.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and surrounding areas.
- Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
- Open Table experience
- No Bussing, only Hosting
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food service practices and guest relations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help others are essential traits for this position.
