Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
Qualifications
- Prior restaurant experience or food service background, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and basic math is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
- Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
- Knowledge of food industry terminology and culinary processes is a plus
- Open availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
