Compensation: Up to $150,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced outside sales executive to help grow this asset-based regional LTL and Truckload carrier. Join one of the longest-established, family-owned trucking companies in the Northeast! We are looking for “business sharp” individuals to maintain existing accounts and secure new accounts. You’ll be in the field, managing your own day, but still part of a great local team, including terminal operations and sales leadership.
Candidates with experience in freight sales are strongly preferred to hit the ground running. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field, but we will consider any combination of education and experience that gets results.
At RIST, we maintain an aggressive, UNCAPPED commission plan that favors strong producers with high business acumen. Base salaries are competitive in the market.

Physical Requirements:

Responsibilities:
· Provide superior service and support to existing customers
· Develop a new client base while utilizing professional sales techniques and tools
· Meet with company operations personnel, i.e., Terminal Managers, Drivers, Customer Service, etc.
· Follow up on sales leads and referrals in a timely manner.
· Be accountable to sales leadership for daily activities
· Review and analyze specific customer shipping requirements
· Assist in the development of fair and equitable account pricing
· Work in and update the CRM (Customer Relations Management) system
· Support and drive to close through the entire sales cycle
