Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Dispatch Coordinator working 9:00pm - 6:00am. This is a professional position that involves the dispatching and weekly scheduling of trucks, drivers, and related loading equipment for moving live poultry to, from, and between farms and processing plants. This position requires close interactions with customers, suppliers, and sub-contract haulers. Regular administrative duties are a large part of this position and consist of the review and completion of job sheets, shower logs, creation of directions and job details
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of one year of verifiable dispatch, logistics or transportation coordination. Any experience exceptions based on extenuating circumstances must be approved by the Transportation Manager.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Outlook)
- Strong understanding of route planning, load optimization and DOT regulations.
- Must have a minimum High School diploma formal education level. Any exceptions based on extenuating circumstances must be approved by the Transportation Manager.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must have strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Must have attention to detail and accuracy.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
