Role Description
We are seeking an Underwriting Assistant for a full-time, on-site role located in Sarasota, FL. In this role, the Underwriting Assistant will support the underwriting team in evaluating insurance applications, collecting and analyzing data, reviewing policy applications, and processing documentation. The role involves ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and guidelines while providing excellent customer service and timely communication with internal teams and clients.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills including data evaluation and attention to detail
- Excellent Communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams
- Knowledge of Insurance and Underwriting processes and principles
- Customer Service skills with a focus on providing responsive and professional assistance
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus
