This role supports accurate financial reporting, revenue recognition, and helps maintain strong cash flow through efficient billing and communication.Essential Functions:Collaborate with Accounting, Contracting, and other Business teams to prepare accurate customer invoices, including labor and reimbursable expense items, and establishment of billing schedulesIndependently generate and process customer invoices in the Unanet ERP system, with minimal errors, ensuring compliance with contract termsPerform invoice-related tasks such as preparing supporting documentation, reconciling expenses, and validating system-generated invoices against external reportsEnsure all invoicing activities comply with customer-specific requirements and government standards, including submissions via WAWF, Ariba, and other customer designated platformsMonitor Accounts Receivable Aging reports and proactively follow up with customers on outstanding balances to prevent cash flow disruptions, record customer payments against Aging ARPrepare monthly reconciliations of Accounts Receivable, Unbilled Revenue, and Deferred Revenue to ensure accurate financial reportingApply strong accounting knowledge and technical expertise in recording transactions for revenue recognition as it relates to accrued versus invoiced receivable amountsRespond to audit requests and support ad-hoc reporting needs as assignedConsistently meet deadlines and communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and project managersAssist in the development, review, and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures and related documentationWillingness and ability to provide assistance in other duties as assignedCompetencies:Proven ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environmentAdaptability and effectiveness in a fast-paced and growth oriented organizationStrong critical thinking skills to assess issues, identify solutions, and drive continuous process improvementDemonstrates natural curiosity with a strong desire to understand processes, identify improvements, and continuously expand knowledgeHighly organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to juggle multiple and various customer requirementsAbility to work independently and on a teamEducation & Experience RequirementsBachelors degree in accounting or business related field preferredUnanet ERP system experience strongly preferredPrior experience with revenue recognition and customer invoicing processes preferredOther Requirements:Valid Passport: Possession of a current passport with a minimum of 8 months remaining until the expiration date.Travel Flexibility: Willingness and capability to travel, CONUS approximately 10% of the time.Telecommunication is authorized for this role.Work Environment Compliance: Commitment to maintaining a drug-free work environment, U.S. Citizenship, and possession of a valid state driver's license.Want to take the next step in your career with RMC this full-time Billing & Revenue Specialist role is where your skills and talents will thrive, and you'll be part of something truly meaningful.Join us today!https://rmcglobal.com/Reasonable Accommodations StatementTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
