Role Description
As a Safety Manager, you will oversee and implement safety programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. Responsibilities include developing and executing safety training, conducting accident investigations, and ensuring compliance with Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards. You’ll work closely with management and employees to facilitate safety practices, policies, and procedures. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Savannah, GA. THIS IS A 1099 Contract role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree — A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety plus 3 years of full‑time construction safety management experience.
- Safety Credential — A board‑certified safety credential from a nationally recognized organization (examples listed: CSP, CIH, ASP, CHST) plus 5 years of full‑time construction safety management experience.
- OSHA 500 — In the U.S., a current OSHA 500 certification (or Canadian equivalent) plus 6 years of full‑time construction safety management experience.
